A woman was attacked around 21H30 by two suspects who broke into her house, situated on a smallholding in Rayton, Cullinan, Pretoria East.
The suspects hit the woman on her head with a brick. She screamed as loud as she could and neighbors heard the shrieking sound of terror and rushed to help her.
When they arrived at the house, the two suspects fled in the direction of Pumzile a nearby squatter camp.
The woman was admitted to a hospital and is being treated for serious head injuries.
The police are investigating the incident.
