Festive Season Operation led to the arrest of 43-year-old woman after she was found with drugs. It is suspected that the drugs were to be smuggled into Johannesburg Prison.
Information was received by crime Intelligence of a lady who was to deliver drugs to Johannesburg Prison (Sun City).
The woman was arrested by members of the K9 unit and found with several tablets of mandrax.
More arrests are imminent as investigation is continuing.
She is expected to appear at Johannesburg Magistrates Court soon.
