Police in Vosloorus are investigating a kidnapping case after 22 year old Mbalenhle Londiwe Mvungande was reported missing to police on 18 May 2018, three days after she had allegedly left home without telling the family where she was headed.
According to the family, Mbalenhle is nine months pregnant.
It is reported that her boyfriend who is known to the family, received a picture on his phone, a picture that is now widely circulated on social media, showing Mbalenhle (as confirmed by the family) gagged with a black cloth in the mouth.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist with this investigation to contact Vosloorus police station or call Crime stop 08600 10111.
