The Golden Highway (R553) blocked again today by Vlakfontein residents with burning tires, rubble and rocks. It is closed from Zakariyya Park to Vlakfontein.
Use alternate routes via K43, R554 and N1.
No cars are allowed on Golden Highway.
Residents are protesting that they have had no electricity for 3 days in the freezing weather.
A patrol vehicle was stoned last night.
