Management of police have welcomed the multiple life sentences imposed on convicted serial rapist, Ben “Benito’ Selemane (28), on Tuesday 1 October 2019, in the South Gauteng High Court.
Selemane was found guilty of terrorising the communities of Ekurhuleni West between 2013 and 2017, where he physically assaulted, kidnapped, robbed and raped his victims.
Selemane was handed 7 life sentences for 23 counts of rape, plus 57 years for assault GBH, kidnapping, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Well done to the investigating team!
