Police from Benoni Flying Squad arrested a 51-year-old suspect for possession of explosives on the R21 freeway.
The police were stationery on the R21 freeway Olifantsfontein, when they stopped a white Toyota Quantum with passengers. They asked permission to search the vehicle, passengers and the passengers’ bags. In one of the passenger’s bags, police found explosives.
The suspect was arrested and detained in Olifantsfontein SAPS and will appear in the Tembisa Magistrate Court soon
