Van Dyk Post Office robbery, employee plus two arrested, Boksburg

Members of Benoni Flying Squad together with Ekurhuleni Tracing Unit members followed up information about suspects who allegedly robbed the Van Dyk Post Office in Boksburg, on the morning of 31 December 2019. The information led police to Vosloorus and Leondale where two suspects were arrested at the respective addresses.

During the arrest an undisclosed amount of cash was recovered in at the Vosloorus address and according to information money was taken during the robbery.

A woman who works at the post office was also arrested as she was the one who allegedly gave the money to her boyfriend.

The three arrested suspects will appear in court soon.
