
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo has arrested two suspects, aged 23 and 27, in connection with a business robbery and a series of other serious offences.
The arrests were made on Monday, 16 February 2026, following an intelligence-driven operation. Members from the Bela-Bela Detectives, Rust de Winter Detectives, and the Sekhukhune District Task Team conducted the operation at the Temba Magistrate’s Court.
According to police reports, the operation was initiated after a reliable source provided credible information regarding the whereabouts of the outstanding suspects.
The two individuals have been formally charged in connection with the Rust de Winter business robbery. Police investigations have further linked the pair to additional serious crimes, including an attempted murder case in Hlogotlou, as well as business robbery and robbery incidents in Pretoria Central.
Authorities have confirmed that further investigations are underway and additional charges may be added as the inquiry continues.
