Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on the R21, Jet Park in Boksburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males of a light motor vehicle were shot while traveling in the direction of Kempton Park.
The patients were assessed on scene by Advanced Life support paramedics and found to have sustained critical injuries.
One of the adult males sustained a gunshot wound to the head and the other male was found with gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
Once stabilized both patients were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the SAPS who were on the scene.
