Two robbed and abducted victims rescued in Germiston

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and other Law Enforcers, rescued two snatched male victims, after their bank accounts, were cleaned.

While EMPD Officers were on patrol monitoring the two-way radio, a report was transmitted as a lookout, about bogus police officers, who stopped a sedan with two male occupants, in the City of Johannesburg, by the Balfour suburb. It is alleged that both victims, who are 33 and 52-years of age, were abducted and forced to transfer undisclosed funds from their bank accounts, before they were forcefully taken to the remote area, in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).

Thorough investigations and intelligence led Officers to a certain house, in the Germiston area by the Rondebult suburb. When suspects saw Officers closing in, they managed to escape and two (2) reported abducted male victims, were found safe and sound but, they had to be taken to the nearest medical facility for a medical check-up and shock treatment, before they given the South African Police Service (SAPS) Members, their horror story.

The inquest docket marked robbery and kidnapping has been opened and Investigations are ongoing.
