Two suspects have been shot dead in a gun battle with police in Boksburg. In a joint operation with their Gauteng counterparts, KZN police tracked down the men who are linked to a cash in transit robbery in Mandeni this month.
A security officer was killed in that incident. Teams from KZN, SAPS National CI Counter & Security, Fidelity SIU and various other security partners, found the pair at their hideout.
An AK-47 and a handgun were allegedly discovered in their possession. Investigations continue. Shout out to all involved in this.
