Police quick reaction led to the arrest of two armed robbers and recovering two 9mm firearms on Saturday, 19 May 2018, in Olievenhoutbosch
The incident occurred shortly after 7am, the victim (32) was on his way to work when he was allegedly approached two armed men who took his cellphones at gunpoint before fleeing the scene
Local police and Tshwane Metro Police were alerted and the search for the men ensued. The two suspects, aged 22 and 27, were spotted roaming the streets of Monandi , they were cornered arrested at Boundary and London Lane Road.
A case of armed robbery is opened at Olievenhoutbosch SAPS is opened for further police investigation and they will appear briefly before Pretoria magistrates court on Monday 21 May 2018.
