On the morning of 29 November 2019, two cash in transit robberies took place near Pretoria, Gauteng province, South Africa. The one incident happened around 10:00 on the N1 highway just past Hammanskraal, armed men in a BMW stopped traffic flow in both directions and attacked a SBV armored vehicle. The cash van was then blown open with explosives causing injuries to people in the vicinity and seriously injuring a security guard.
Minutes after that another attack took place at KIT KAT Cash & Carry, in Pretoria West. Police are hunting for the gangs involved. There is no other information available at this stage.
