The employee of a security company in Johannesburg has suffered multiple gunshot wounds chasing down alleged looters on Bishop Road, Turffontein on 2 May 2020. It is believed that men jumped from the taxi being followed and opened fire on his vehicle.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 15:30 where they found the security company’s paramedic already treating the 51-year-old man on the sidewalk. The patient was in a serious condition and Advanced Life Support interventions were required to stabilize him before being transported to a private hospital for further care.

Further details surrounding this incident are unknown to ER24.
