At about 2:00 this morning Drift Reaction received an alarm activation from the house in Steynsvlei. Tactical units reacted and on arrival caught one suspect as he tried to run away – the person looked under the influence of some kind of substance.
The SAPS were also notified and on arrival they removed him from the premises. He did not break into any building – he triggered the alarm. They too were of the opinion that he was intoxicated and it was definitely not alcohol.
