Three suspects were apprehended yesterday, 24 June 2025, shortly after allegedly robbing a tuck shop in De Deur.
The arrests were made in Meyerton after the Sedibeng K9 Unit, supported by private security companies, acted on a tip-off from the public. Authorities recovered the vehicle and firearm believed to have been used in the robbery, both of which were seized as evidence.
The suspects, aged between 35 and 40, are set to appear in the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court on 26 June 2025. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
