At 02h52 on Saturday morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident in Moreleta Park, Pretoria.
Exact detail to the cause of the shooting and preceding events are still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a Nineteen-year-old-female sustained moderate injuries after sustaining a wound to the leg.
Medics treated her at the scene before they transported the patient to a local hospital for further treatment.
