On December 19, 2016 around 00:50 three suspects were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, a Pajero, at the corners of Pretoria Road and Modderfontein Road in Lyndhurst.
Upon further questioning the three suspects including the one who was driving, it was established that she was given the car by her boyfriend who was then called to report to the Police Station.
The boyfriend confirmed that he has had the car for three years and that he indeed gave the girlfriend the vehicle.
The vehicle tested through engine number came positive on a Pinetown case that was reported in May 2013.
The boyfriend was also arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
