A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 90-year-old Jossie Gilson.

The elderly lady lived alone in the Pioneer House retirement village, in Vanderbijlpark, and on Sunday night, was attacked by a suspect.
The suspect stabbed Gilson to death. Residents found her bloodied body and called the police and emergency services.
According to the police, the suspect was found near the retirement village drinking with friends. He apparently had an access card for the property and the police are trying to determine how he got the access card. The police also confirmed that nothing was stolen.
The suspect will appear in court.
