The event will be graced by his Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa, several Heads of State, foreign and local Ministers, business men and women and other high profile dignitaries.

It is the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure’s (NATJOINTS) responsibility to ensure that this Forum, like all other major events in the past, takes place in a peaceful, safe and secure environment.

The NATJOINTS comprises of all government departments within the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) Cluster, including the South African Police Service.

We are ready as the security forces to ensure that the event takes place in a safe and secure environment through the deployment of integrated role-players executing their various responsibilities as per their mandates. The NATJOINTS has begun with its operational deployments to ensure safety and security for all delegates and participants, in and around the Sandton Convention Center before, during and after the conference.

A Notice to all Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued by the Civil Aviation Authority which restricts the airspace within three nautical miles of the conference at the Sandton Convention Center from 11-13 November 2019. Please note that this is strictly a NO DRONE ZONE.

The members of the public that plan to stage protest actions and marches are urged to do so within the confines of the law and they have been allocated a space at the Speakers’ corner for the duration of the conference.
