The suspect wanted for the killing of cash in transit guard that happened last month at the Pan Africa Mall was in his shack with his family when the police arrived. The police ordered the suspect to come out but refused and opened fire on the police. Unfortunately, the little child was killed in the shootout between the police nd the suspect. The mother of the child who was inside the shack at the time was unarmed.

The police managed to overpower the suspect and arrested him. The police found an unlicensed firearm and ammunition in the shack. The police said that the suspect had “muti” wrapped around his arms and body, and presume it was to protect him.

The cash in transit guard was killed in June when the suspect who is presumably a member of a gang and took part in the killing and robbery where an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

The suspect is currently in hospital and will appear in court soon.
