1. Shocking media blackouts in South Africa
Protests continued in the Ekangala and Bronkhorstspruit areas yesterday East of Pretoria.
People could not get to work as roads remained barricaded with rocks and fires.
Protestors stood in the road and threatened people trying to get to work.
Police stations were surrounded by barbed wire after threats have been made to burn them down.
Since Tuesday people have been shot, cars and trucks were burnt and shops looted.
