A security guard who appeared to be shot multiple times in Vanderbijlpark was transported to hospital for further care.
ER24 paramedics attended to the scene, near Hendrik Van Eck Boulevard and Louis Trichardt Boulevard, at about midnight and found the lying on the ground near his vehicle.
Upon assessment it was found that he had sustained multiple wounds.
He was treated and taken to hospital.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
