Scientology Volunteer Ministers: Special guest - Gauteng MEC for Transport - joins in for sanitizing

On 15 May, the MEC for Transport for Gauteng went to sanitize taxis in his area along with Scientology Volunteer Ministers.  Seeing what was being done, he was taught how to fog and immediately went ahead fogging taxis himself.

Since the Volunteer Ministers started to fog taxis three weeks ago, more than 25,000 taxis in Gauteng have been fogged.  “We were thrilled to have the MEC of Transport for Gauteng, Mr. Mamabolo learn how to fog and started fogging.  He was a good student and did well,” said one of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers.  “We were much honored when the MEC joined in.  We need all the help we can,” he added.

Sandile Hlayisi, Public Affairs Director for the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, said that, “What is being done is really exciting.  We are sanitizing our public transport and can make hundreds of thousands safer.   And when we inspire others to join in, it makes us happy and it makes everything even more exciting.”

The Volunteer Ministers, inspired by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, have done more than 110,000 hours of volunteer work in Gauteng alone to help South African citizens.  They have sanitized more than 4000 buildings from one-floor shelters up to 20-floor government building and everything in between.
