The Gauteng Traffic Police SLEU Officers acted on information regarding a male suspect wanted for Statutory Rape.
The officers traced the suspect, a Scholar Transport driver, operating around Soweto. The arrest was executed at Ben Naude Drive, Diepkloof, while the suspect was in the process of transporting school children in the area.
The suspect was positively identified by the victim’s parent and was immediately apprehended.
