On Sunday afternoon 24 February 2020, at 16:14, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting in New Road in Erand AH, Midrand.
Reports from the scene indicate that and adult female had allegedly been robbed of personal items while in her vehicle.
One of the robbers had fired a round into the vehicle luckily missing the lady. She was assessed on scene by medics and found to be in a stable condition.
The patient however declined ambulance transportation to hospital.
