An alleged robber has sustained multiple gunshot wounds, ER24 said in a statement on Thursday.
Paramedics arrived at a property in High Street, Pretoria, to find the man lying on the ground.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasig Harduth said the man, believed to be about 35 years old, was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Harduth said the details were sketchy, but authorities were on scene for further investigation.
