Randburg detectives recovered three firearms and stolen property, suspected to have been taken during a house robbery in Beverly Gardens, Randburg on the morning of 14 November 2019. The suspects stole jewelry and other items, including firearms.
The police were notified about the house robbery and responded swiftly.
The preliminary investigation led the members to a nearby stream where the suspects were spotted at their hideout. Upon noticing that are being approached by police, the suspects fled on foot
The police recovered some of the items robbed from the premises and three firearms, one of which had its serial numbers filled off. The firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing in order to determine if they were used in the commission of other crimes.
Police appeal to the community to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects that are still at large by contacting the nearest police station or anonymously call Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
