The R59 – Midvaal protest taking place throughout the week is not over. Police presence remains high and there are rumors of a land invasion threat.
There is a report that the EFF are selling plots of land for as little as R15 and that thousands of people had turned up to claim their land on a Midvaal farm.
The Midvaal Council are seeking telephone numbers of business to warn businesses in the vicinity, that added security might be necessary.
On twitter, reports of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and African national Congress (ANC) are joining forces to remove the Democratic Alliance (DA).
