Contrary to social media reports that Amy-Lee de Jager, a grade R pupil who is 6 years old, who was kidnapped from the Kollege Park Primary school in Vanderbijlpark, has been found, are untrue. It has in fact come to light that her parents have been contacted by the kidnappers, who are apparently demanding a R2 million ransom for her release.
Four black males in an old shape white Fortuner D4D, with unknown, or no number plates were responsible for the kidnapping on 2 September 2019. Police confirmed that there is a manhunt underway.
