The daily protests continue, a protest by residents in Riverlea, south-west of Johannesburg, is underway and they have closed off roads between Main Reef Road and Commando Road. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes. There are reports that the situation is extremely tense.
The demonstrators are demanding houses and complaining about the electricity. The unusual damage of throwing stones, burning tyres continues.
