Police have opened a culpable homicide case following a fatal accident involving a state vehicle, after which four community patrollers lost their lives while two police officers sustained injuries in the early hours of Saturday morning, 4 August 2018.
It is reported that the police vehicle from The Barrage was ferrying ten community patrollers when it collided with another vehicle.
One police officer has since been discharged from hospital while the second Constable is still in hospital in a stable condition.
Six patrollers are also still in hospital receiving medical attention.
