Police request assistance in identifying murder victims

The police in Gauteng request the public to assist with identifying two female bodies that were discovered in the morning of 09 Septemeber 2023 at an open veld in Jan Frederick Tedstoneville, opposite Ramaphosa’s Squater Camp at Elsburg.

Victims are black women aged between 16 and 18-year-old. The first victim was wearing a blue jacket, Green takkies and denim jeans. She had a gold tooth with plaited hair.

Second victim was wearing black tights, black vest with white tekkies. She has a tattoo written “Boity” on her right leg and another one with a date 07 June 2016 on her left shoulder also a flower tattoo on her right arm.

Both victims’ sustained gunshot wounds and the preliminary investigation suggest that they were killed in a different place and just dropped at the veld.

A case of murder with two counts is opened for further investigations.
