Members of the South African Police Service in Soweto together with Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department arrested two suspects in Mofolo North, Soweto, for multiple charges that include hijacking, possession of presumed stolen property, kidnapping and attempted murder on Friday, 5 August 2022.
A shootout ensued after police responded to a courier van being hijacked which resulted in one suspect being injured.
The stolen property were recovered at the scene.
