The FF Plus calls on Muldersdrift’s community to actively participate in crime prevention actions in their area. This follows after a 15-year-old girl, was shot several times in her parents’ house on a farm on Tuesday night.
Jaco Mulder, FF Plus leader for Gauteng, said the Muldersdrift community had been harassed by violent crime for several years and the SAPS is unable to protect the community.
“Muldersdrift is surrounded by a large number of informal settlements where unemployment, poverty, and crime are rampant.”
“The police in Gauteng do not have an effective crime intelligence ability to prevent crime,” said Mulder.”
The FF Plus wishes the young victim a speedy recovery.
