At approximately 23:39 pm 19 April 2018, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting in Turffontein, Johannesburg.
On arrival, Netcare 911 and other emergency services attended by two male victims both in their 20s. One of the victims had a gunshot wound to the neck and was treated on scene before being transported to a hospital for further medical treatment. The other male victim sustained minor injuries.
At this stage, the exact details were unknown however local authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
