A man has been shot dead and a woman is in a critical condition after a shooting at a house in Tato Street, Tembisa, in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, shortly after 9am on Saturday, paramedics said.
“When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on [the] scene they found that the man had already died. The man was declared dead on [the] scene,” spokeswoman Athlenda Mathe said.
The woman was stabilised on the scene and transported to a Johannesburg hospital for further medical care.
“The exact detail to the cause of the shooting will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” Mathe said.
