
NINA PARK — An adult female is hospitalized in serious condition after being discovered with extensive burn injuries in a local park, triggering a rapid, multi-agency medical response in Nina Park.
The incident unfolded after PVES members received a distress call regarding the injured woman. Recognizing the severity of the situation, they immediately requested ambulance services to be dispatched to the location.
Upon reaching the park, first responders located the adult female suffering from severe, extensive burns. Medical crews swiftly initiated critical emergency care to address her life-threatening injuries. They successfully secured her airway, administered oxygen therapy, and conducted a comprehensive medical assessment while preparing to request higher-level medical support.
Due to the critical nature of her condition, Advanced Life Support (ALS) units were called to the scene. ALS paramedics arrived within minutes to take over advanced medical interventions. The specialized team successfully established intraosseous (IO) access and administered advanced pain management protocols to stabilize the patient.
Following on-scene stabilization and efforts to maximize her comfort, the woman was prepared for immediate transit. She was classified as a Priority 1 patient and rushed to the nearest appropriate medical facility. Upon arrival at the hospital, the emergency medical team handed her over to the medical staff, where she remains in serious condition.
