CERT-SA Centurion crew responded to a motor vehicle collision on Ruimte Road, near Heuweloord.
Alleged robbers fleeing from law enforcement led to an intense shootout, causing their vehicle to roll over and collide with two innocent civilian’s vehicles.
A female patient sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a Level One trauma facility.
Two others suffered minor injuries, while three suspects were apprehended with minor to moderate injuries.
All patients were transported to the hospital in stable conditions.
The police are investigating the incident and processing the scene for evidence.
