At 12H31 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Jan Shoba Road in Hatfield.
Reports from the scene indicate that a male motorcyclist in his late twenties was knocked down.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital after being stabilized on scene.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
