A development company filed an urgent application in the Johannesburg High Court against Black Land First Land (BLF) to prevent them from entering their property or occupying building structures on the property.

The 700-hectare property is located between Midvaal and the East Rand municipality.

Cosmopolitan Properties has started a housing scheme on the land after which BLF and illegal squatters have re-entered the ground again.

BLF has been given until today, Friday, 21 July 2017, to oppose the application.

BLF once again blamed the “white monopoly” for blacks acquiring land.
