The residents of Mooiplaas have declared war on crime, drugs and the abuse of alcohol within their Community, this follows the arrest of a 25 year old man on Wednesday morning 11 April 2018.

Tshwane West Cluster crime prevention team were on routine patrol along R55 road, Sunderland Ridge industrial firms and surrounding areas when they received a tip off about a man suspected of selling drugs in Mooiplaas.

Swift reaction by the police, the man was cornered at his residential place as he was preparing to leave his shack. In the process his shack was searched and dagga over R2 000 was found and he was immediately arrested.

In another incident three women ages between 30 and 54, were also arrested for selling liquor without license. The Community together with the police will continue to fight crime and to remove bad elements in the Community.
