Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 43 year old male Sergeant whose decomposed body was found in a veld near Strachan Street, Danville, Pretoria West on Friday 17 August 2018 around 11:30.
Police confirmed that the Sergeant who was stationed at Atteridgeville K9 Training Academy, had been reported missing in June this year.
The deceased Sergeant’s personal belongings were found in a bag next to his body. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage and no one has been arrested.
