A revolver linked to a house robbery in Midrand was recovered in Mamelodi East last night, 1 November 2018, after the arrest of a 32 year old suspect and the seizure of drugs.
The arrest took place when the police intervened in a domestic dispute they were attending in extension 18, where the suspect lives.
A bullet was spotted on the table as they arrive, and later drugs and a revolver stolen four years back in Midrand during a house robbery was also discovered in the house. The suspect will be charged for dealing in drugs, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition with the possibility of additional charges of domestic violence.
The suspect will appear in Mamelodi court soon.
