Police had to use rubber bullets and stun grenades to disperse protestors in southern Meyerton after demonstrations about some unhappiness, as usual, turned violent.
The R59 highway between Johannesburg and Vereeniging has for several days already become obstructed to the great inconvenience of motorists who are forced to use secondary routes.
