A man was left critically injured last night after he was stabbed numerous times in his home in Lanseria.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 20h30 with the SAPS shortly after.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found a man lying inside his home in a pool of blood.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous stab wound, leaving him in a critical condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was airlifted to Mediclinic Midstream by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter.
The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
