At 02h00 on Sunday morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a stabbing along Lavender Road near the Bon Accord Dam in Pretoria. Reports from the scene indicate that the man was stabbed with a broken bottle in the neck.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man aged around thirty-five lying on the ground with a life threatening injury.
The patient was stabilised at the scene before they transported him to a Pretoria hospital for the care that he required.
