ER24 paramedics were dispatched to Meredale, south of Johannesburg, to attend to a patient who had been shot on Thursday.
Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found a man believed to be between his 20’s/30’s lying in a bush between some houses.
Upon assessment of the man it was found that he sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.
Investigations were underway.
