Man shot in face during attack at smallholding
Farm worker and wife brutally assaulted

Four armed and dangerous suspects forced their way into the Bootha smallholding situated in Randfontein in the early hours 04H10, of this morning, Friday, February 24.

The four suspects gained access into the property by poisoning the dogs and breaking through a window with burglar bars.

Hennie Croukamp (63) and his wife Marie (62) were attacked while still in bed. The suspects shot Hennie in the face and forced Marie to open the safe. Upon hearing a security vehicle approaching the suspects fled.

Hennie was rushed to the hospital and is in a critical condition.

The police are investigating and the suspects are still at large.
