On 28 November 2018, at about 21:30 an Asian man pulled off next to the road as he had a flat tyre. It is evident that he got out of his vehicle, placed the red triangle in the road and started loosening the wheel. What exactly transpired nobody knows. He was shot at point blank range in the back while changing the tyre and passed away.
His body was discovered by pedestrians. All the valuables were stolen.
PLEASE DO NOT STOP next to the road. If you really have to, call your security company to pass by and not leave you next to the road.
This is extremely disturbing as it happened about 1km from the police station and it is the main road through Muldersdrift. We constantly have vehicles driving up and down this road, police drive up and down and according to a source nobody heard or saw anything!
